What’s involved in roof restoration?

Step 1: Set up pump inside storm water drains or entry points
Temporary edge protection and safety harnesses are used to ensure work can be done safely.
Step 2: Replace all broken or chipped tiles
Any necessary roof repairs are carried out to make sure the roof is ready for cleaning and painting.
Step 3: Pressure cleaning of roof
Next we clean the roof using high-pressure water blasters. This removes any built-up mould, moss, lichen, fungi etc as well as making sure there is no oxidisation powder left on the surface.
Step 4 : Re-point Entire Ridge Capping
Re-pointing is carried out.
Step 5: Apply undercoat
A coat of primer/sealer is now applied to the roof to allow time for it to soak into the porous tile. For metal roofs we apply Metal Primer Plus.
Step 6: Apply two coats of membrane
Two thick coats of Roof Protect roof membrane are applied in a colour of your choice.
